Our Story
Airmove didn’t begin in a boardroom.
It began in isolation. Sydney. COVID lockdown. Fourteen days alone in a hotel room. Our Co-founder had just returned from overseas and was placed into mandatory quarantine. No meetings. No travel. No movement. Trying to stay active, he arranged for a treadmill to be picked up from a warehouse and delivered to his hotel. A simple request. Or so it seemed. Back home in Melbourne, moving equipment was second nature. With years of logistics experience and access to transport networks, organising trucks and deliveries was routine. But in Sydney — alone, without contacts — the system fell apart. Removalists were unavailable or overpriced. Couriers couldn’t handle bulky freight. Same-day options didn’t exist. Call after call led nowhere. And then came the realisation: If someone inside the industry can’t move one treadmill in a major city… what chance does everyone else have?
